Meet Our Staff
Dr. Joseph Kessler graduated with honors from the University of Missouri St. Louis School of Optometry in 1996. He is married with two children. He enjoys spending time with his family and is an avid cyclist. He saw the first patient at Kessler EyeCare in 1999. Interestingly enough that first patient now manages our Towne West location in Wichita.

Jana Kessler oversees all three offices. She recieved a bachelor of science in biology from Southeast Missouri State Univ in 1991. She enjoys being married to the most handsome man in Kansas City and being the mother of two beautiful children. She is active in her children's elementary school's PTA.
Patty Byrd is the office manager of our Wichita office. She and her husband Joe were the first two patients of Dr. Kessler's at Kessler Eyecare. She is the mother of two grown children and grandmother to six. She enjoys spoiling grandchildren and traveling with her husband.
Sierre Siemens is an optometric technician at our Oak Park location. She is engaged and is the owner of a hyperactive labrador retriever mix named Aphrodite. She enjoys going for long walks with Aphrodite and her fiancee Seth.
Jennifer Smith is an optometric technician in both of our Kansas City locations. She is currently enjoying dating her good friend Quinn. She enjoys playing Texas Hold-em poker, watching all varieties of sports and hot bubble baths.
